¿Qué es el ojo seco?

El  ojo seco, se produce básicamente por una falta de lubricación sobre la superficie del ojo. Esta falta de lubricación generalmente se traduce en una irritación ocular leve, pero en algunos casos puede desembocar en una inflamación significativa. Los síntomas que manifiestan aquellos que sufren de ojo seco pueden abarcar desde una sensación de sequedad, ojos rojos, sensación de sequedad, visión borrosa e incluso la sensación de que se haya metido en el ojo algún cuerpo extraño procedente del ambiente. El uso de lágrimas artificiales como Systane Complete ayuda a reducir de forma significativa los efectos del síndrome de ojo seco.

Recomendaciones de uso de Systane Complete

Estas gotas oftálmicas liberan en el ojo pequeñas cantidades de lípido, de tamaño nanométrico que brindan alivio a la vista, hidratan y restauran la capa lagrimal. Deben ser agitadas bien antes de usarse y pueden utilizarse antes de colocar las lentes de contacto y después de retirarlas.

No utilice Systane Complete en caso de que el precinto de seguridad está deteriorado, no exista, o si el tapón de seguridad está dañado.

Puede utilizarse hasta 3 meses después de la primera apertura. Desechar la emulsión no utilizada transcurridos 3 meses desde la primera apertura.
